Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors, Minhaj University Lahore, said that if a nation wishes to become dignified and honorable, it must respect its teachers. He stated that respect for teachers is essentially respect for knowledge itself.

He said that a teacher is a noble personality who lights the lamp of knowledge amid the darkness of ignorance, shapes character, and enriches the new generation with the wealth of awareness and wisdom. No nation can progress until it prioritizes the respect, training, and well-being of its teachers. Teachers are the intellectual capital of a nation and the architects of its development.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of the Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) Lahore, led by its president Usama Mushtaq, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day. MSM leaders Mehr Latif, Muhammad Abu Bakar, and others were also present.

The student leaders presented flowers to Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. On this occasion, Dr. Hussain emphasized that students must appreciate the invaluable services of their teachers, seek guidance from their experience, and work together to improve the educational system.
